It provides a comprehensive bibliography of over 5600 recommended books for young teenagers. Recommendations are based on selections by "School Library Journal", "Booklist", "The Book Report" and "Voice of Youth Advocates" and other journals. Each entry includes author, title, grade level, copyright date, publisher, price, ISBN, short annotation, and citations to reviews. Information is arranged by author and title index, as well as by subject/grade level index. Nearly one third of titles are fiction, with subjects ranging from "Contemporary Life and Problems", to fantasy, adventure, romance and sports stories.
