Posing as a professional game hunter Leon is tasked with gathering information on one of his clients, wealthy industrialist Otto von Meerbach. Leon finds himself falling for von Meerbach's beautiful mistress, Eva von Wellberg and the two begin a secret love affair.

When Leon uncovers Meerbach's plot to raise a rebellion against Britain among the disenchanted survivors of the Boer war, Leon finds himself desperately fighting a battle against time, but is his true enemy closer to home than he ever
